NB Not all work can be carried out off site and you should contact us PRIOR to bringing your laptop/computer in to the office. If we are required to visit your home/work premises to resolve the problem then normal rates will apply.

Where Small Businesses have a policy to settle invoices after 30 days, then charges will be applied at £52.00+VAT* per hour (pro-rata for each 15 minutes)

 Review of Computer or Laptop, remove unwanted files and programs, check key settings are correct, confirm updates have been installed, ensure scheduled tasks are running correctly, review logs to ensure no underlying problems exist, and provide details of any further recommended works or upgrades considered necessary

Notes: If a PC MOT cannot be carried out because the computer or laptop has a fault or error which needs to be dealt with first, then this work will be chargeable at normal hourly rates. Recommended works or upgrades would be charged at normal hourly rates.

I.T. Know Howe Ltd use a debt collection agency for the recovery of unpaid accounts. Additional fees of 25% plus VAT will be added to the original invoice value in this event.

• All prices quoted are subject to change without prior notification and with errors and omissions excluded (E&OE).

• Specific components quoted are subject to availability and similar products may be used as an alternative without prior notification.

• Works requested outside of specific quotations will be subject to further charges.

• Custom built computers are supplied with 12 Months parts & labour warranty (on site for customers living in TA1, TA2 and TA3 only - Return To Base for all other post codes). Software issues are not covered.

• Branded computers, laptops and peripherals eg Monitors & Printers, are supplied with 28 days warranty from IT Know Howe, then by Manufacturers warranty.

• For goods to be dealt with under warranty they must be returned by the customer to IT Know Howe at the business address listed on the invoice: warranty matters may be dealt with on site, but only by prior arrangement and a charge will be payable for travel time and expenses.

• Title to goods supplied remains with IT Know Howe Ltd until such time as full payment has been received and cleared.

• IT Know Howe Ltd accepts no responsibility for existing customer data, which should be backed up prior to the commencement of any works.

• All on site works will be carried out during normal hours unless agreed by prior arrangement (Normal Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm).

* All charges are based on a work carried out within a 10 mile radius of our Offices in the Centre of Taunton (TA1 4EB) as referenced with Google Maps. For travel beyond this distance the charge will be £2.00+VAT per mile.
